The BIG “O” Birthdays!
Two big celebratory parties were held at Cornerstone in June.
At the start of the month (5th), Marian reached her 90th birthday.
Worshippers joined with Marian and her family in celebrating on Saturday afternoon at the church, and then went for a special meal at The Venue (Park Hall) after the Sunday morning service.

Worshippers joined with Marian and her family in celebrating on Saturday afternoon at the church, and then went for a special meal at The Venue (Park Hall) after the Sunday morning service.
Geoff turned 70 at the end of the month, and the church sprung a surprise Bar-B-Q for him. Despite the rather damp weather outside, the atmosphere was warm and everyone had a wonderful meal. The team of chefs - Phillip, Mike and Andy - kept a steady stream of chicken legs, burgers and sausages coming in from the patio outside, whilst bowls of salads, quiches and other goodies had been brought to share with everyone.
A “Mr & Mrs” style quiz rounded off the celebrations - with a fair bit of audience participation!
