The Berwyn Bikers..
Pastor Ken and Colin decided they would mount their bikes and cycle the “Berwyn Block” during the summer - the roughly rectangular route up the Tanat Valley to Llangynog, over the Berwyn mountain range (an ascent of over 2000 ft!), and back to Oswestry via Corwen, Llangollen and Chirk.  
 With a total distance of 55 miles as well as a Category 2 hill-climb, this was no mean feat!
More impressive still was the support shown by friends, family and the Cornerstone community who sponsored them to the sum of over £400!
Their adventure was in support of “Seedlings For Christ”, specifically to raise funds for Ken’s daughter, Jo, who works for this charity organisation in The Gambia, W. Africa.  She has established a school for local village children and is now moving out to live and work in that community long-term.
