Over the past 2 summers I have had the privilege of spending some time in Africa (Malawi and SA). These have been life changing times for me; times of great challenge, growth and character development. Through these experiences God has given me a great love for Africa and its people.
In January 2010 I will be on the leadership team of a 6 month ministry programme in Ndola, Zambia. Our team will be based at Kaniki Bible College where we will receive training from local African tutors. We will spend the rest of our time ministering in the local communities: in schools, churches, orphanages and prisons.
The team will also take a 3 week expedition into Malawi, working with local pastors and church groups there.
Obviously I am hugely excited about this next chapter in my life but I still have a lot to do before then: helping with some local youth work, finishing my TEFL qualification, training for a half marathon and the small matter of raising £4,500!
